Hi Happy Easter!

Hello hello! I don't have hardly anything to write about haha but missionary life is so awesome. I got to the Provo MTC last Wednesday and it's been so good so far! The food is usually mid but sometimes it's half decent so we count our blessings when it's something good haha. Anyway, everyday here is basically the same. Wake up, class, study, lunch, class, study, dinner, class, sleep. But it's so good. We learn so much every day and the spirit is so strong. 



We also have started learning Tagalog and wow the gift of tongues is so real. Our Tagalog teacher has been in the hospital cause she broke her back or something so we hadn't had a Tagalog lesson for about a week and we were very behind schedule. So on Friday they tried to cram a week's worth of tutoring into one hour and it was a lot and kinda stressful. But as we've continued to learn its starting to make a little more sense and it's coming together! God is so real and the gift of tongues works wonders. My district and companion are also so awesome we all get along so well! Also I get a bloody nose at least every hour so that has been entertaining lol. 



And Easter here was so good! We went to lots of devotionals and choir performances and such but it was all so awesome! It was so cool to just focus 100% on the reason we celebrate Easter and not have any of the worldy traditions attached to Easter like we do at home.

Bap Date For Micah!!

Merry almost Christmas!! It definitely doesn't feel like Christmas here because its 80 million degrees. Haha enjoy the snow for me!  This week our friend Micah accepted a baptismal date! She is 16 years old and has been on and off coming to church for basically her whole life. She attends seminary and goes to FSY. She wants to be baptized so bad but her parents won't give her permission. We just recently started teaching her again and this week we taught about baptism and extended a baptismal date. The spirit was SO STRONG and she was so excited to say yes. She even asked if she could be baptized before the end of December! Her faith is so strong and she is currently praying for the courage to talk to her mom for permission. She said that even if she doesn't get permission she wants to get baptized anyway because she trusts God that it will all work out.  I'm learning and growing so much every day and I'm so grateful to be a missionary. Nanay Peed During Our Lesson

A good week! The gift of tongues is my best friend lately and it is SO REAL. The other day we had a lesson with our friend Jerry, and I had planned to speak a lot more in this lesson. Usually I just give the invitation and bear my testimony and occasionally teach a short part. But this lesson was about the restoration and I was going to be teaching a lot more and I was nervous. But we went into the lesson and I was able to contribute everything that I needed to! When I shared the first vision, the spirit was so strong in the room. It was just another confirmation to me that Joseph Smith truly is a prophet of God and he really did restore this church.  Funny backstory… before this lesson started, we were waiting in Jerrys house for him to come downstairs. He is the caretaker for his Mom who has cancer. She has a bed in the living room and I have never not seen her on that bed. Typhoon!

Hi! Been a sec! Quick update from the past 3 weeks… -We had 7 friends come to church last week!  -Jay and Denielle got baptized last Saturday and it was such a good day!  -AND A TYPHOON! I have never seen so much rain in my life. On Wednesday, it was pouring all day. Every time we came home for meals I had to change my clothes because I was drenched. It kept raining all night long and the worst of it was on Thursday. We went out Thursday morning and it was so fun I was enjoying that storm way too much haha. At one point a car drove super fast by us and it sprayed us with water and literally drenched us. It was so funny. The weather kept getting worse so unfortunately we had to go back inside and stay in for the rest of the day.  A few streets away from us, where some members live, was the worst of the Typhoon. The water went to the second floor of their house and they had no way of getting out. Very scary. But luckily the rain finally stopped and the water went low enough...
